Family at Utah Tulip Festival in Spanish Fork Utah

Where Nature
and Community
Bloom Together

In a world that often feels like it’s moving a little too fast, we wanted to create a place where time slows down.

Why It All Began

The farm you visit at the Utah Tulip Festival at Leland Legacy Farm in Spanish Fork is part of a story generations in the making. This part of the farm and the old farm house have been in our family for over 80 years, making this area very special to us.

Our family has been farming in the Spanish Fork area for over 155 years across seven generations, passing down a legacy of hard work, stewardship, and resilience. Some of our roots trace back to the Quackenbush family, who came to America from the Netherlands in the 1600s and settled in what is now New York City. Their descendants eventually made it west to Utah.

The Utah Tulip Festival grew from the desire to keep the farm meaningful not just for our family, but for our community. Spring has always symbolized hope here, and planting tulips became our way of sharing that beauty with others.

Rooted in Passion

Today, the farm is run by our immediate family, and most days you’ll find us out in the fields alongside our kids, working together to create a place where people feel welcome. When you visit, you’re not just coming to an event — you’re stepping into a farm our family loves and cares for every day.

We believe farms are meant to be shared. If you’d like to experience the tulips in bloom, breathe in a little spring air, and spend time on a farm that’s been shaped by generations of family care, we would love to welcome you.

A Different Kind of Festival

When we envisioned the Utah Tulip Festival, we didn’t want a “look but don’t touch” experience. Nature is meant to be enjoyed, not admired from a distance.

That’s why we created our U-Pick fields.

Guests can wander through the blooms, choose their favorites, and gather a bouquet they picked themselves.

We also embraced the joy of farm life. Our gentle baby animals add a playful, heartwarming touch, creating moments that are just as memorable as the flowers.

Our Mission: Reconnection

Our vision goes beyond the blooms. We exist to help you reconnect.
